Preparing for Your Summer Literature Review

This Summer many students will be engaged in doing research involving some form of literature review. This might be a stand-alone project such as a systematic review or it might be a literature review done as part of a larger research project. In this session, the discussion will include various kinds of literature reviews and cover search techniques appropriate to each. There will be a heavy emphasis on systematic reviews including: what they are, how they differ from standard literature reviews, and the unique methodologies involved in completing one. Additionally, there will be a discussion about software which can help streamline the literature reviews process.
